Wayne DaCosta’s impressive importee Stranger Danger made it five wins from as many career starts after romping to victory in the Open Allowance contest over a mile, the main event on Wednesday’s mid-week card at Caymanas Park. The American dark bay gelding who was voted the 2018 champion 2 year old, was ridden to victory by 6-time former champion jockey Omar Walker who was riding him for the first time. He came home in 1 minute, 38 seconds flat to win by 5 lengths over stable companion Drummer Boy. Champion jockey Anthony Thomas and apprentice Christopher Mamdeen each had a 3-timer on the 10 race card. Thomas won aboard Court Call at 5-1 in the second event; Lana at 5-2 in the third and the 3-5 favourite Aurelia’s Summer in the 7th.
